Welcome!

Hi everyone!

We're so excited and happy to be finally getting married! We can't wait to share this very special occassion with our family and dearest friends.

As you all know, Rachell and I have been together for the past 5 years. We first met each other through mutual friends from UC Berkeley. We continued to see one another, and we just really clicked with each other. The last 5 years have been very memorable, and I'm so happy to have been able to share them with Rachell. I look forward to our future together, and our future with all of our family and friends.

July 12, 2008 will be a big day for Rachell and I. We sincerely hope everyone will be able to attend to share this special day with us at the Villagio Inn in Yountville. Please continue to check this site from time to time as we will continue to add information about the wedding and about Yountville.

Her wedding party

Maid of Honor - Grace Paik
Grace and I met in elementary school when I moved to Seoul and have been friends for the last eighteen years. She's like a sister to me and the only person I know who shares my love for 'going to cafe and chill' and my hate for Tom Hanks!
Update! Grace just got engaged and will be receiving her MBA in May!! Congrats Grace!

Bridesmaid - Dana Cho
Dana was the very first person I met when I moved to Seoul, when we sat next to each other on the school bus. Even back then, it was obvious what a great person she is. Despite the notorious gingerbread night, Dana is an amazing friend and the smartest, most talented person I know. She is a smart-space guru at IDEO and also an amazing mom with an unbelievably adorable son, Ewan.

Bridesmaid - Eugine Jung
Eugine and I were suitemates in college and have stayed best of friends. We were inseparable in our Berkeley days and she is always a shoulder to lean on through tough times. I always feel lucky to have such a loyal and caring friend.
Eugine got married this past September and is currently practicing law in San Francisco.

Bridesmaid - Lada Engchawadechasilp
I met Lada in 2004 and we've been great friends ever since. Not only can she make me laugh till I cry, but she's also a very true friend who always has my back. And on top of all that, she's a financial wiz and currently works as a financial analyst at Smith Barney in San Francisco.

Bridesmaid - Louisa Wong
I met Louisa a couple of years ago through a mutual friend and we hit it off immediately. She's truly amazing, I always call her asian Martha Stewart.
I love that she is always so cheerful and upbeat compared to me. Although we've been friends for just a few years, I feel honored to call her one of my closest friends. She and her husband, Ryan, are also our neighbors on Beale Street and throw the best white elephant parties!

His wedding party

Best Man - Eric Yee
Eric and I have been friends since our days back in middle school. We became best of friends, post college, when we lived near by one another in San Francisco and have shared many golf outings, bar nights, and all-you-can-eat sushi nights. Eric has always been loyal, funny, and a very good hearted friend.
He is currently living in Hong Kong with his fiance, working for Oracle, and pursuing his masters degree.

Groomsmen - Kenny Teng
Kenny and I first met on the now infamous Love Boat trip to Taiwan in 1994. Although we stayed in touch, it was not until we reconnected in 2002 when I was visiting Jason in Hong Kong, that Kenny and I became best of friends. Kenny is a deal-closer for Salesforce.com, has a serious passion for movies, and is building up his drinking tolerance beyond 1 beer!

Groomsmen - Ed Kao
I first met Ed in the 9th grade while playing tennis at the Aragon tennis courts in San Mateo. We clicked right away and have stayed great friends ever since, sharing many memorable moments over the years.
Ed has always been a brain, and is now a doctor of Radiology practicing in San Jose.

Groomsmen - Jason Ting
JT Smooth as he is commonly known. Jason and I have been friends since our middle school days at Crocker. He has always been proud of his back-to-back years of being our middle school's one-on-one champ. Jason is usually trying to find ways to make people laugh or he is stressing out about his fantasy football team.
He is currently in the family business of freight forwarding.

Groomsmen - Philip Kim
Philip is Rachell's younger brother who is very loyal to his family, and will also be getting married to his fiance this August. Phil is a talented golfer and avid card player. Phil and I have gotten to know each other well over the last few years and I'm very happy and honored that we will be brother-in-laws.

Ushers - Updated, 4/17

Vic and Shaun
Victor Lo
Victor and I have known each other since our days of Crocker Middle School. We've always kept in touch through the years and have had many good times. Victor is a brilliant man of business and has recently opened up the Bay Badminton Club (www.baybadminton.com) in Burlingame. In addition, Victor and his long time girlfriend, Kristina Lin, have also been recently engaged! Congratulations Victor and Kristina!

Shaun and Wayne
Wayne Lee
Wayne and I first became aquainted over the summmer of 1994 in Taipei, Taiwan during Chien Tan (aka Love Boat!). Since that memorable summer, we've continued the fun and laughter. Currently, Wayne is with Qualcomm and can geek about almost anything.
